Chi Kung

Chi Kung is the practice of cultivating internal energy called Chi.

The 3,000 year old exercises of Chi Kung are designed to promote internal energy through breathing and meditation. Chi Kung helps students calm the mind, relax the body and develop rootedness and better focus.

The health benefits of chi energy are many. Besides strengthening the immune system, it slows down and partially reverses the effects of anti-oxidant damage to body cells. When your chi flows smoothly and without blockages, you are getting more oxygen to your cells, including your brain. You can concentrate better. You have more energy and stamina - all while staying completely relaxed.

Choy Li Fut Kung Fu, Yang Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung complement each other and we recommend that students be familiar with each.
