Participates in the
First World Traditional Wushu Festival

On Tuesday evening, October 12, 2004, Sifu Evelina Lengyel and Sihing Andrew Lengyel & Sihing Josh Wolf, began their adventure to China to attend the First Annual World Traditional Wushu Festival. The tournament was held in the city of Zhengzhou in the Henan province near the Shaolin Temple — the birthplace of Kung Fu. According to historical accounts, it was at this temple that a monk, Bodhi Dharma (also known as Dah Mo), began developing a training system to improve the health of the monks now known as kung fu. Choy Li Fut Kung Fu is a traditional Shaolin Martial Arts system.

Concord Kung Fu Academy, through the efforts of

won 1-Gold, 3-Silver and 2 Bronze medals at the tournament.
